I places an order online on July the 12th. Looking at the website I saw that a black line was placed through several items.

I assumed that those were seasonal items as most of the items through this site. I ordered the package of the vintage, big red and swiss cheeses. The order went through. I went online to check the status of my order a couple of days later.

The caption read that the order was cancelled.

I called in to speak with a customer service representative. She informed me that they did not ship cheese during the summer months. I asked, why don't they send customers ordering products through your website a clarification of products during the summer.

She said customers frequently order products during summer for the November months. I exclaimed their was not even a place on the website to do that. To that she just said she could not place the order.

On the web site it says several products are not available until fall.

I placed the order for my fathers birthday, only to be disappointed by Swiss colony.

They were kind enough not to charge me for the cheese they didn't send me. They need to work on their communication.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.
